Teaching Outreach
Teaching outreach is the academic process that combines teaching and research carried out at the University. In order to generate a variety of educational activities such as disseminating knowledge, updating and training, according to the demand of society and the institution itself in terms of generating knowledge and learning in various institutional, national and international topics. These have a direct impact on the work of the university and the Costa Rican community, and on the improvement of the professional and occupational performance of the country's inhabitants.
Our school disseminates the knowledge generated through academic and research activities through projects addressed to the graduating population in the field of Human Movement and Recreation, to professionals in the field of Sport, Exercise, Health, Recreation and to various interdisciplinary fields interested in the topic.
Projects
The general objective of this project is to offer training activities throughout the year to people interested in the fields of human movement sciences and recreation. The aim is to provide theoretical and practical academic tools that will have a positive impact on their professional work.

The main purpose of Escuelas Deportivas y Recreativas para la Salud is to contribute to the integral development of the children, youth and adult population through a wide variety of recreational and sports activities that are offered to provide a space that promotes physical activity in their free time.

Given the growing need for sports institutions and event organizers to have a multidisciplinary level of knowledge that provides useful tools for the correct and effective administration. This course is designed with an essentially dynamic and practical teaching method, providing those who enroll with the knowledge and development of basic skills for a correct and effective administration of sports institutions, which will allow them to make decisions according to the theoretical knowledge and practical experiences lived in the course, guaranteeing them a management of excellence.
