Human Movement Sciences and Health Educational Outreach Program for the Community

Programa de Difusión Educativa de Ciencias del Movimiento Humano y la Salud para la Comunidad ED-1560

This program brings to the public relevant information about research, teaching, and day-to-day work in Human Movement Sciences and Health for a better quality of life.

It was registered in 2005 and modified in 2008, where it was in use until 2021. However, it was preceded by several dissemination activities carried out on Radio Universidad (96.7 FM) and Radio U (101.9 FM) between 2001 and 2005, which continued to be developed within the framework of the project once it was registered in 2005.

Its objective is to disseminate among the general public the findings of the human movement and health sciences, with emphasis on their practical application, from infants to senior citizens from different socio-economic backgrounds.

Products developed by the project:

Radio shows:

  • En Movimiento (1-hour weekly live show broadcasted by Radio U, 101.9 FM, and on the Internet)
  • En Movimiento (2-short weekly shows broadcasted by Radio Universidad, 96.7 FM, and on the Internet)
