Description
Volleyball has been increasing its popularity day by day throughout the world. The practice of this sport requires many hours of practice to be able to develop it in competition. It is also considered recreational in which people of all ages participate. The course consists of 2 weekly lessons of 50 minutes each, in which they will be dedicated to the practice of volleyball, providing the student with the basic elements essential for practice in a planned and progressive manner, according to their psychomotor abilities.
The volleyball course for beginners emphasizes the fundamentals of volleying, low hand, serve, spike and block; as well as the respective basic regulations and the implementation of skills in different game situations.
General objectives:
- The university student population will stimulate the development of their socio-affective, physical-motor and cognitive channels, through active participation in the progressive lessons of the Sports Activity courses.
- You will acquire the knowledge and skills that allow you to integrate the practice of continuous physical activity into your life, as part of the maintenance and development of your overall health.
Specific objectives:
- At the end of the course, the student will be able to value through play the importance of sports, physical education and recreation in their comprehensive training and the improvement of their quality of life, in search of elevating human development.
- Understand and practice volleyball and its fundamentals through recreational play.
- Execute volleyball skills in an elementary way, applying the knowledge acquired in learning situations.
