EF-6301 Swimming for Beginners Mixed



Description

This course and its respective activities will focus on developing in the participating student population a positive attitude towards the practice of physical activity and sports, as a means to promote the development of their physical-mental and professional health.
 

General objectives:

  • The university student population will stimulate the development of their socio-affective, physical-motor and cognitive channels, through active participation in the progressive lessons of the Sports Activity courses.
  • You will acquire the knowledge and skills that allow you to integrate the practice of regular, continuous physical activity into your life, as part of the maintenance and development of your overall health.

 

Specific objectives:

  • Promote the development of habits towards the constant practice of swimming.
  • Swim at least 100 meters continuously using each of the styles seen in the course.
  • Float for 10 minutes in deep water, depending on the level.
  • Execute the departures, turns and arrivals of the free styles, backstroke.
  • Dive and swim underwater covering a distance of at least 10 meters.
