Description
The Taekwondo Sports Activity course is aimed at regular students of the University of Costa Rica, and aims to develop the physical and motor fitness of students, creating awareness of the importance of physical activity for health and at the same time raising awareness. to the university student about the philosophy of modern martial arts and its application in daily life.
Students will receive concepts and theoretical-practical foundations essential for the practice of this sports discipline, two hours a week during a school year.
General objectives:
- The university student population will stimulate the development of their socio-affective, physical-motor and cognitive channels, through active participation in the progressive lessons of the Sports Activity courses.
- You will acquire the knowledge and skills that allow you to integrate the practice of continuous physical activity into your life, as part of the maintenance and development of your overall health.
Specific objectives:
- Develop an appreciation of Taekwondo as an art and as a sport.
- Strengthen the physical and motor fitness of the participants.
- Improve mental discipline and your emotional equanimity.
- Teach the basic fundamentals for the practice of Taekwondo.
- Offer participants an activity according to their interests and needs.
