Description

This course and its respective activities will focus on developing in the participating student population a positive attitude towards the practice of physical activity and sports, as a means for the development of their physical-mental and professional health.
 

General objectives:

  • The university student population will be able to stimulate the development of their socio-affective, physical-motor and cognitive channels, through active participation in the progressive lessons of the Sports Activity courses.
  • Acquire the knowledge and skills that allow you to integrate the practice of continuous physical activity into your life, as part of the maintenance and development of your overall health.

 

Specific objectives:

  • Improve the student's physical and motor fitness.
  • Instrument the student so that they can safely execute the basic physical conditioning systems.
  • Bring the student population closer to new training systems, their benefits and possible health risks.
  • Encourage in the student the need for systematic and permanent sports practice.
