The School of Physical Education and Sports of the University of Costa Rica in response to the challenge of an evolving society, has developed the Master's program in Human Movement Sciences under a scientific criterion, capable of deepening and updating knowledge about human movement sciences.

The curricular contents are organized according to the following axes:

-Theoretical Formation - Deepens curricular contents related to physical exercise and health as a means to favor quality of life and creates a sports culture.

-Methodological - Research Training: It provides fundamental tools for research, which is the central axis of the curriculum.

Academic-Professional Activities: These are tools to stimulate the generation of knowledge, creativity, and take advantage of the student's experience and knowledge through the realization of academic and professional activities in their specific field of interest.

The School of Physical Education and Sports of the University of Costa Rica offers the Professional Master's Degree in Recreation to provide the necessary training so that its professionals can meet the demand for recreational programs in society, so that the population can use their free time profitably and, therefore, improve their quality of life.
