EF-8221 Women's Beginner Basketball Course
Description
The purpose of this course is to provide university students with the opportunity to acquire or improve their skills in the sport of basketball, through individual and group practices. It also aims to educate the student to practice sports in general.
General objectives:
- It will stimulate the development of their socio-affective, physical-motor and cognitive channels, through active participation in the progressive lessons of the Sports Activity courses.
- You will acquire the knowledge and skills that allow you to integrate the practice of continuous physical activity into your life, as part of the maintenance and development of your overall health.
Specific objectives:
- At the end of the course the student will be able to execute two different types of dribbling, stops, passes and throws in a game situation.
- Put into practice at least two basic principles of one-on-one marking during a basketball game.
- Recognize and execute the basic movements of at least one defensive zone during a basketball game.
