Description
This Karate do Sports Activity course aims to educate and raise awareness among the university student population about the philosophy and importance of modern Martial Arts and its application in daily life in the physical, social and emotional fields.
The student population will receive concepts and theoretical-practical foundations essential for the practice of this court martial discipline, two hours a week during a school year.
General objectives:
- The university student population will stimulate the development of their socio-affective, physical-motor and cognitive channels, through active participation in the progressive lessons of the Sports Activity courses.
- You will acquire the knowledge and skills that allow you to integrate the practice of continuous physical activity into your life, as part of the maintenance and development of your overall health.
Specific objectives:
- Develop an appreciation of Karate Do as an art and as a sport.
- Strengthen the physical and motor fitness of the student population.
- Improve mental discipline and your emotional equanimity.
- Teach the basic fundamentals for practicing Karate Do.
- Offer the student population an activity in accordance with their interests and needs.
